We are happy to announce to everyone that our newest version of our community platform is available and online. We have put a lot of work into the development over the past few months, and still have a few things to work on (for instance, the help section is empty and our subscription engine is not yet finished), but have brought the site into a position to be released. So why don't we go through and show you some of the features...
Community Forum
Our site now has a new forum, developed specificly for the site itself. No more bloated code that covers dozens of features that are not needed and never used. We have taken a queue from the popular and light weight forum software created by Rickard Andersson, punnBB. It allowed us to think more of the specific functions needed, verses the need to have functions.
Transfers
We have introduced a new feature to our community that is much like a combination of instant messaging and the gallery. The difference is that it allows you to upload almost any file type and share it with your friends. The files are time sensative, and deleted after a specific time has passed (regular users have 3 days, premium users have 7), and can be shared with your friends upon uploading. You are also given a link that you can email, post on forums, ect, but the downloads are only available to logged in users, so make sure the people you want to share the file with have an account.
Gallery
Your photo gallery now has several linking options that show up automatically on the images and the gallery itself. Go to your albums and pics to check them out!
Bookmarks
Can't remember that picture location you liked? Bookmark it. You now have the option to bookmark almost anything on the site. Just look for the bookmark link, and you can capture it to your member's area.
Promo Codes
We have several promo codes that can be used in order to obtain increases to your photo gallery and limited time premium service. Some codes will be obvious, some won't. We will be posting a few of these on other forums and sites in order to help pick up some users.
